The 23rd of June 2022 marks the inauguration - set up in loving memory of Francesco Convertini - of a new space dedicated to cultural projects, activities and events, starring exhibitions like Ephemera and art installations by Daniel Gonzàlez, Anonima Luci and Katatonic Silentio. A safe space, enhanced by Guido Parenzan’s illumination system based on simplicity and consistency, to “bring value to space, maintaining the subtleties and elegance of a building that boasts eighteenth-century features, arches and vaults”. A timeless place ready to host art exhibitions of many kinds.
Over 200 meters of fabric cable, 27 lamp holders and 19 T-junctions (all strictly patented for outdoor use) have been employed for this project. The plan has been divided into three areas. A jute fabric cable will run along the central axis of the 5m tall gallery. The cable will follow the perimeter of the arches, blending in with the wall. Twelve 2-meter long, lined cables will fall from the ceiling and be paired with a mustard-coloured EIVA lamp holder and Delo porcelain-effect lightbulbs. For a striking yet delicate and functional effect.
Seven ceiling lamps have been places along the perimeter of the gallery, to lighten up the bar area as well. The mustard-coloured EIVA lamp holders have been paired with the G155 lightbulbs with stronger illumination.
The entrance to the exhibition is embellished by a striking 8-fall Cage chandelier. Red fabric cable, EIVA lamp holder and G125 smokey lightbulbs with curved filament, to bring light and class to the space.
